High Tech Necromancy

When something is alive for many thousands of years, I doubt you can out with it.The leader of the demons is known as the father of all lies, do you think it might be possible to be deceived? According to the bible, when Satan is revealed the reaction from the masses is one of surprise..."This is the guy who caused so much trouble to humanity?!"

We are all fascinated by what is on the 'other side’. Everyone involved in the paranormal is trying to capture definitive evidence of life after death, or at least get a peep through the keyhole that may offer an explanation, or verification or substantiation to our pursuits. We all have different reasons for our involvement in this field some more honorable than others. Often there is a need to have something to point to so some can say "I told you I wasn't crazy or making this all up”. Others grew up in homes with varying phenomenon and are seeking answers to lifelong unanswered questions and still others seek to help those with no understanding find peace within their lives.

However-a word of caution needs to be raised. The spirit world is not an all benign place where you can go for a visit, then leave. Many including myself believe there are negative entities that have an agenda, a plan for destruction to any and all that they can who venture into their realm. Just because you are merely curious does not mean you are not their prey. When a person channels the spirit realm or a spirit guide, a psychic or unwilling person is the medium or moderator and some of us have a built in alarm system that tells us that not all is pure evidence or harmless investigation because there is a person with a personality and emotions who is the go-between. Humans are fallible and after all...human.

Many new types of electronic devices are something else because they can be construed as the audio keyhole for communication with the dead. It is far more dangerous to me than anything I have come across because they seem so believable and fantastic. Are these devices a high tech version of necromancy?

We don't know who the voices being heard belong to, or that they are not deceiving to lure into a whirlwind of tail-chasing and time wasting. Who knows what will eventually come out of this, maybe some new religion or belief system based on information from some voice from the beyond?

I see the need for great caution with these EVP/communication devices for they may be the first step down. What is the fruit of it? Is it just interesting to hear? Does it require further action on our parts as the hearers and listeners? Do we want more and more? What does it reveal? What does it contradict? Every account of demonic activity starts out seemingly harmless then progresses slowly to ensnare the prey. Not everything is demonic of course-I just think we need to be ever so careful and not drop our guards with regard to these devices.

There are so many questions surrounding them that need to be asked and that need to be answered and yet is that the snare? I have had to ask myself for years "Why did several peoples emotional state change the second one of these device was activated, including my own?" and afterwards how did everyone feel...and are they still as affected as I am-yes I know some of them are.

I also must continually wonder is the one who really profits from these devices a 'what' and not a whom? What are we assuming with these devices? We just can't assume that what is heard is what is real! Or is it that we would expect to hear thereby facilitating a broader plan of possible deception by the deceivers?

I have always felt that a great deal of caution is needed even when simply using a tape recorder because this realm is more than just a thrill it can be devastatingly frighteningly real.
